…at Denver’s Back To School Fest 2025 last Saturday and it was a great time! There were lots of kids, students, families and youth in attendance and we made some new friends and happily bumped into some old friends. Sunny Boy played music at our tent and got to jam with a number of kids as our lovely organization VP handled the table expertly. We had lots of colorful and fun giveaways for the young people and talked to many, many folks, and handed out lots of information. We also got to network with some great people and organizations doing excellent work in Denver and Colorado communities. Sunny Boy even got to do a short mentoring session with a high school student – it rocked! Denver’s first responders, sheriffs, and police were all represented. The organizers and staff were awesome, as well – special thanks to Lori for all of her help and leadership, too. All in all, a wonderful time!
