All Sunny Boy programs are founded in best practices and effective, positive learning outcomes. Our facilitator is highly trained in early childhood and youth development and learning dynamics. We fully adhere to the guidelines of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Social Emotional Learning – Program Quality Assessment (SEL-PQA).

Sunny Kids
Currently our youth enrichment groups and participants are called Sunny Kids. Soon we will have a dedicated performance group available for public appearances. Shows for kids performed by kids!

Why children and youth?
As relayed in popular song, story, and verse, we believe that children are truly at the very core of a sound and loving future for all of humanity. At Sunny Boy Foundation we strive to maintain a very strict eye on child and youth well-being. Our impact – whether working with individuals or groups – is based in bringing voice, value, and self-efficacy to young people, while nurturing their own ideas, desires, goals and dreams. Through trainings, workshops and conferences, Sunny Boy has positively impacted over 6,000 children and youth in a wide variety of communities. We continue to move forward and grow in our role, partnering and working with many organizations and schools. There is a special something that comes about when music is brought in to enhance other enriching activities, sessions and workshops. There is a sense of empowerment and accomplishment gained by young people when using their creative mind, as well as a feeling of belonging. Sunny Boy Foundation is now spreading this wonderful impact to other facilitators, providers, teachers and organizations through insightful and mindful conference presentations for early childhood educators and out of school time providers.
