Another great way to apply Sunny Boy songs is in a recital format. The recital format works well with a few kids up to an entire choir. Depending on time and other resources, we would hold anywhere form 4 to 8 rehearsals for one hour each. Then, we do a recital for parents, families and friends. During rehearsals, children would be assigned – based on their preferences – different parts of the songs to sing and/or play, creating a unique performance that not only teaches strong positive lessons and values, but can also be an introduction to the performing arts.
