Sunny Boy enrichment and OST programs …
…have a super solid foundation in Social Emotional Learning, Social Emotional Academic Learning (SEL), Social Emotional Academic Learning Champions (SEAL Champions), and Social Emotional Learning Program Quality Assessment (SEL-PQA). Sunny Boy (Gordon Hamby), is certified in SEL-PQA by the Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality.
Sunny Boy enrichment programs are also data driven. A major part of the SEAL Champions program is about program quality assessment through data gathering, analysis, and application of the various SEL based frameworks. This not only insures program quality, but also insures consistency in providing great quality outcomes.
Sunny Boy Programs are wonderful and creative music based hybrid child enrichment and wellness programs, through which to teach and reinforce lessons and concepts of emotional management, self-value, love, inclusion, equity, membership and belonging, unity, kindness, empathy, and diversity. The music and associated program are designed for K-5 with super positive, effective, and practical lessons and takeaways. And, no matter what the child’s age, all lessons and learning outcomes, language, and activities are designed to be appropriate no matter what the demographic. Associated materials are also designed in an inclusive and respectful way that makes them very effective teaching and learning tools.
Sunny Boy Jim Jack Jones is great for assemblies, concerts, and festivals, too!
Sunny Boy workshops, enrichment programs, and EduConcerts are available for classrooms, conferences and after school programs, or just a fun sing and play along time.
Workshops are designed to address multiple learning styles including: Aural (auditory-musical); Verbal (linguistic); Physical (kinesthetic); Logical (mathematical); Social (interpersonal); Solitary (intra-personal)
Sunny Boy programs can be customized especially for your organization, youth group or event, and even be a component of a longer learning experience (e.g. conferences, retreats, etc.).

Sunny Boy can also be performed as an interactive Educoncert experience.
Sunny Boy Recital Format
The recital format works well with a few kids up to an entire choir. Depending on time and other resources, we would hold anywhere form 4 to 8 rehearsals for one hour each. Then, we do a recital for parents, families and
friends. During rehearsals, children would be assigned – based on their preferences – different parts of the songs to sing and/or play, creating a unique performance that not only teaches strong positive lessons and values, but can also be an introduction to the performing arts.
