…wrapped up wonderfully at Canvas Foundation’s Hero Fest honoring City of Denver’s first responders. There were many first responders in attendance with their equipment, as well as many related resources and services for first responders, families, and community. There were also fun games, activities, and inflatables for the kids and youth, and yummy food trucks. It was great to connect with many kids and youth, as well as families and community members. It was also awesome to honor and support first responders, and tap into my father’s legacy (he was a Denver Police Officer for 25 years). Canvas Foundation was an excellent sponsor and host. Their staff and volunteers were super friendly and professional and we felt very well taken care of. Special thanks to Sunny Boy Foundation’s board members and volunteers, as well. The event was a wonderful fit to wrap up our summer season for a great cause!
