…in attending Struggle of Love Foundation’s 25th Anniversary and Ribbon Cutting Celebration. They are such an amazing organization doing awesome and empowering work with youth, families, and community. The Honorable Allegra ‘Happy’ Haynes expertly MC’d the event, featuring Kyle Clark as the Guest Speaker. Mayor Mike Johnston and District Attorney John Walsh were in attendance and spoke as well. Montbello High School Cheer Team and Drum Line rocked us in with a wonderful and powerful performance. It was a super special evening to celebrate the grand opening of the new Love Center and the 25th anniversary of Struggle of Love Foundation. LaKeshia Hodge (Founder and Executive Director), and Joel – Coach Eye – Hodge (Founder and Program Director), are such dedicated, generous and gracious people, and their team truly rocks the house! A special shout out to school lead Shannon as well for his hard work and dedication. The program was wonderful and the food was yummy. It is an honor to be included and considered to be a partner in this tidal wave of Love brought on by Struggle of Love Foundation.
