…and celebration between Denver Mayor Mike Johnston’s office and Struggle of Love Foundation was held at the Love Center and was awesome! Many dignitaries were in the house as well as the Love Team, lots of community resources and vendors, and many wonderful community members and youth. Legendary Tuskegee Airman Colonel Harvey was present and was honored, as well. We heard from poignant speakers including Coach Eye, Lakeshia Hodge, Council members Shontel M. Lewis and Darrell Watson, and Mayor Johnston. The food was excellent and we were also treated to performances by two great youth spoken word artists, and the amazing violinist and student, Iman. It was a wonderful evening – super vibrant and moving!
